withdrawls from subutex with a new born baby

How long does a baby withdrawl from subutex after they are born.. And will I be able to brestfeed him or will the subutex hurt him?

Has your OB talked to you about delivery and breast feeding?  Are you going to continue taking the sub?

The baby isn't born yet. She is 35 weeks and the ob knows she is on them and told her not to stop.this info is on her profile

My son was born on subtext and he thankfully did not have withdrawal symptoms but it's a 50-50 chance of it happening! And how did the doctors not know th child was born on subutex? They should be informed immediately as withdrawal symptoms can cause damage to your child! Be very very careful!

It could be anywhere from a couple days to weeks, and needs to be done with doctors because it can cause seizures and other painful experiences for the child. Yes breast feeding will continue to feed the child subtext and is highly not recommended!
