Chances are if he was just found passed out drunk he will be charged with public intox and as long as he doesn't have any outstanding warrants and hasn't been in a lot of trouble he will see the judge,be issued a fine and released once he sobers up.I will keep your brother in my prayers...all the best...Kim

This is considered public intox.  I hope he will figure this out soon and get into some sort of recovery.  As i said before all you can do is let him know you are there for him.  I know it hurts but dont forget to take care of you during this.......sara

Thxs I know stress is my biggest trigger. I do that I will take this and look at it as a reason to stay clean. I'm scared and really sad that this is happening to him.

I am hoping that he will see that being clean and sober can be a good thing and will feel comfortable in talking to you when the time comes.

Have you talked to other family members, maybe you can stage an intervention, Let him know how much you love him,and that you are concerned, next time he could get alcohol posing this would be horrible.Let him know he is not alone .Try to gather as much information on addiction  and services in your area.Knowledge is power hopefully if you gather the tool's he will try to work at it.Unfortunately this is something he's gonna   have to do himself. All you can do is be reassuring.  He is very lucky to have such a loving sister......................................................................Good Luck.. Young/gma

Thank you he called last night and wanted me to bail him out I told him the only I would is we went straight to brighton hosp. He's there he asked me if I would help him stay sober even after he is done with the 60 days. I told him yes. I cried al night in relief he came to me. He is my baby brother and I don't want to watch him die

He has a sister like no other, he should thank his lucky stars that he has some like you in his life. I hope he realizes that it is going to be a long bumpy road, but with someone like you beside him, it will be a easier road to travel. I think it would be a good idea to tell him about the tears you cried for him. This time it was tears of joy not pain.              Good job....Young/gma
