xanax - how long to get addicted?

If you read my last post it said that I am trying to stop taking percocet 30s and that i might take xanax to help with the WDS. Well i was thinking about just going c/t but the WD is really uncomfortable so i want to try this. I dont want to get addicted to that, so i really need some questions answered..

1) I am going to take the xanax and they are the stick ones. If i break off a qaurter and take that everyday or every other day until the WDs stop will i get addicted?
2) How long does it take to get addicted to the sticks? - if i take a quarter or half a day

xanax never really helped me with my withdrawals except the sleep issue occasionally..i would only use them for the sleep problems and no longer the 5-7 days...but i bet some people could still get addicted to it in that time  frame, you would be better off asking your doctor for some clonidine (blood pressure med) it works better than anything, most here will tell you the same....so i dont really have an answer for you...sorry.....but just take them for a short of time at the lowest dose possible, but they may not help anyway...
