xanax did help

Following up on my earlier post.... Yesterday 34 days clean from Hydro... As you may recall i recieved a sript (for .5mg xanax ) from my Dr. after a lond discussion obout my stress levels.......I read and appreciate the comments from you all who uggested i not use any....i have beeen hvind such anxiety i really think i needed to try something..... Well yesterday i tried .25 in the AM  1/2 of a pill.....I do no undestand why i am so anxious but it di help..I took another at about 2Pm I am traveling on business and it did help.....I am going to be arriving back home on Friday and I will not take anything while i am there.....

This MUST be the mental part of WD'S from the Hydro....I have never had anxiety and it was to the point where people were asking me if I felt al right siad i look pale..........Other then the feeling stressed out and a cough for which robitussin seems to wotk;;;;it was the overwhelming anxious feeling and the nervousness....that was having a terrible impact on my day...

If this matters I did not fell high only a litttle calmer and i waited 6 hours to take another 1/2 pill

using them sparingly if it will help keep u clean is not a bad idea..as long as u know how addictive they r...have u ever had a problem with benzos before?  if not then just take them for a short time as needed and then quit them...valium woulda been a bit safer than zxanax but as long as u r taking them responsibly all should be well..be safe

I have never really used anything other than Talwin Nx 25 years ago....after bac surgury.  Then I has a stint wiht drinking to much...That ended about 18 years ago...theni was SQUEAKY Clean up until about three years ago....I used pain killers for a month here or there in between periods..... But the only other thing i can recall having is Flexeril.........

I have never used large volumes of painkilllers but I know i have a problem because I took them for the felling not the pain....I can deal with the discomfort I ahve which since my last surgury is exactly ZERO.....So I hav eno reason whatso ever for Painkillers....But wowo this anxiety has been something....I can deal with it at home but the last two trips I was a wreck...never has happened before I took hydros or befre I took them...So iam hoping it willl pass quickly....

I will use them sparingly......One other thig i should mention I have not been able tom eat or keep the food down...but the last two nights I did and it helped improve me...I wish someone else who had this anxiety would tell me that it could be the Mental side of WD'S..
