xannax to sleep

by OneHurtingPup, Aug 11, 2008 08:31AM
my first 6 day off the painkillers i could not sleep worth a chit.  averaging about 1 1/2 hours a sleep a night. it was hell. my friend gave me a xannax 2 mg to sleep on night 7 i sleeped like a baby 6 hours. and took another xannax last night  sleeped like a baby again 6 hours. i have tried other over the counter sleep aids, and glasses of warm milk and herbal teas to sleep the first 6 nights they didn't work, how long should i keep taking xannax to sleep? or should i not be taking them to sleep? i am starting day 9 without the painkillers. if you have any better ideas on how to sleep and not toss and turn, please let me know, i know i do not want to get hood on xannax. thanks

You can look in the Health pages and see what is in there. Malatonin helps and there is a Calcium/Magnesium drink that some people say is really good.

Xanax is addictive so I wouldn't use it long term.

Good luck,
Melissa
