zubsolv

Hello everybody.. If no one here remembers me I have been addicted to pain pills now for 6 years (off and on) I went 6 months clean and relapse a year ago.. The time I was off I felt OK but started to feel stressed and depressed with the way my life was so I slipped up and started taking again... The 1st time I kinda went could turkey because I moved out of state for a job..but the job didn't workout so now I am back in the city where it all started and pain meds are plentiful... So I have been buying them up like crazy.. I met this wonderful woman a d she is getting suspicious and money gets short without her knowing why.. She asked me one day while I was driving was I on drugs and my heart dropped so I said that was it and I had to finally close this chapter in my life before it destroys me again..so I finally told my doctor about my addiction and even though it was dificult I finally feel like I am really doing something a out it. He prescribed me Zubsolv and today is my 1st taking them.. I was feeling a withdrawal coming on so I took one under the tongue and a out 30 minutes later the withdrawals stopped..I reply hope this work... Any pointers or suggestions out there??????

Zubsolv is really no different than Suboxone.  If you are on Zubs right now you are going to eventually feel withdraw from this drug.  I'm on my 21st day and i still have residual effects.  The 1st 14 days are rough...but every day gets better.  Good luck and please be careful on that stuff.

I sent you a message that I wrote for someone else preparing to start using subs.  That message has some basic info about the drug.  You should be aware of this; Zubsolv is a trade name for an extremely powerful opiate.  Its called a partial agonist opiate.  In simple terms that means it doesn't fully stimulate the receptor it attaches to in your brain.  This limit the euphoria (The "high")  But make no mistake, this is an extremely powerful medicine and can be very difficult to get off of if done improperly.  There WILL be withdrawals.  Go to google and read some about suboxone.  After that let me know and I'll try to help put it in perspective so you are better prepared to make your own choices.  Be prepared to read "'horror" stories and "saved my life" stories.  There no easy short answer I can post here.

It should be the same strength.  The manufacturer claims a higher bio-availability; being more of the pill is absorbed sublinguily so they can put less in the pill for the same effect.

Your medication is a competitor to Suboxone; It uses the same chemicals, Buprenorphine/Naloxone.  Because it has improved bio-availability, the doses are slightly smaller.  Start some research on this medicine.  I'll send you some info I've posted

Here's some info on Zubsolv

"Zubsolv has a higher bioavailability than Suboxone and as a result comes in different doses than Subxone or generics. Zubsolv comes in sublingual tablet sizes of 5.7-mg/1.4-mg (buprenorphine/naloxone), and 1.4-mg/0.36-mg (buprenorphine/naloxone) both have equal bioavailability to 8mg/2mg and 4mg/1mg of competing buprenorphine/naloxone products, respectively"

We were all just talking about something similar to this on a thread earlier. You say that you took one and 30 minutes later you were better and the w/d's stopped. You need to think of how strong something must be to knock out opiate w/d's. I do wish you luck and I hope someone comes by soon with some info for y'all.

Is zubsolv the generic brand of suboxone? I've only ever heard it once before and it's a person on here "ready2befree" I think he took them as well. Hopefully he sees this and can help you.
