Zydone is hydrocodone 10 mgs.
ok...I am sorry but I dont know if that means it is or is not. I am a newby to all the drugs. Never used street drugs nor did marijuana. Yeah I am a blone but to me all the "dones" seem like they would be in the same family. I have look for info on www.drugs.com which is very informative but still I have no street or drug knowledge.
No, it just sounds the same, its still an opiad though.
It is used for pain and is a narcotic.
I think methadone is used for pain too and also used to quit narcs.
How does zydone "help" a fatty liver? Is it less taxing on the liver? I'm not sure what else other than hydrocodone is in zydone. I would ask you dr. if this drug is helping your fatty liver or just hurting it less. The liver is a very important organ and has so many important jobs to keep us helathy. Let us know what you find out.
Fatty liver... did you use to drink a lot?
In any case - I'm not familiar with zydone - but if it is prescribed due to a bad liver, my guess would be that it does not have tylenol (aka: acetaminophen, APAP, etc...)
Hydrocodone itself is not that hard on the liver - however APAP is very hard on the liver - depending on the dosage, even more so than alcohol.
no i dont drink alcholic beverages but I am obese. That is the reason I have a fatty liver. No it was not perscribed for my liver...it was perscribed because of my liver being fatty.....the perkocets have apap in it and what I am told zydone dont. I have 6 herniated disc in my back from several accidents...that is why I was getting perkocets in the first place. But the zydone make me sick. That is why I was wondering if it was in the methadone family. Thanks for your responces.
Zydone has 400mgs. of tylenol in it. It comes in 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg of hydrocodone like all the others, the tylenol amount is the only difference.
