Admitted to dr I was addicted then he touched me

I went to a local urgent care and admitted I was addicted to Vicodin and had dr shopped for 2 months. I had a kidney stone and thats when i got started. This guy said he needed to examine me and put his hands down my pants and grabbed my breasts. Touched me below graphically! No I am not high or making it up. I was off for 1 day. It turns out he wasn't a dr even though he said he was. he is an assistant who writes prescriptions. He said he can't write me anymore and started touching me again. I said stop and he did. But I'm sure he thought no one will believe me. I'm trying to stop and now I feel ashamed and depressed by what happened. I'm 39 yo, professional. It's clear I did a bad thing shopping and am not doing it anymore. I want to get better but this is haunting me. Shame. Makes it hard to want to get clean.

Hi sweetheart,  You have nothing to be ashamed about, the disease of addiction is cunning and strong...we get really sick in our spirits and do things to feed the habit.  If you can be honest with someone you trust, maybe a woman nurse, that's who I told.  You deserve a chance at getting off the medicine and you are not unique honey, that and worse has happened to so many innocent victims, be brave, get angery if you have too, just call the hospital near you and ask about their detox program.  You will come to feel so better about YOU...release what that bum did so you can concentrate on getting you together first, then you can put the next fire out by reporting him and yes they will believe you because you have documentation and there was no nurse in the room.  If you want to call a lawyer and he or she will guide a sweet kid like you, your being very brave and you will be alright a day at a time...blessings and love!~

Dear Teddyblue What a horrible experience.  I am so sorry for what you had to go through, especially at the hospital.  You MUST tell someone, the police and the hospital etc.   They will believe you.  I am sure he has done this many times.  You will feel better once you have it off your chest, also consider getting therapy to talk to someone to get over this.  Don't let that man have power or control over your life.  And you will also save others if you complain about him.  I am again so sorry you had this happen to you.

I live in Canada, I am not sure where you live.  But you can call the police and talk to the administrators at the hospital.

Much luv,   ;0)

I know but I doubt they will believe me. I dont know who to tell. Does anyone know who handles this? he was so aggressive I am sure he has done it before. I don't have a history of ever doing anything wrong. I lost my BF to cancer recently and I just couldn't deal with it really. I had a bottle laying around from when I had surgery 7 years ago and only took 2. But something changed when I was grieving.  I admitted I was abusing them to this dr and one other dr. So now I think they will just dismiss me as a druggy , which really hurts and causes the intense shame I have.

You should turn him in and prevent him from doing this to someone else. That is despicable and you should not be ashamed, you are the victim. This situation should actually give you more strength to get clean , so you don’t have to put yourself through this ever again. There are a large number of descent professionals out there . Don’t give up.
