Norco, Alcohol, cigarettees

Hi, I've posted on the "people" forum 3x now and no comments.  I am now on day 6 of no Norco or Oxy.  My pattern is take my 1 mo supply of Norco in 15 days and then get sick for the past 6 mos or so.  I had it in control for about 3-4 years, I'm on year 5 now and just didn't realize what I was doing to myself, while being the caretaker for my husband who died of cancer 3+ yrs ago now.  I have a buldged disk and bursitis and the doc just keeps giving me Norco.  I stopped just before Xmas and was done until i got an absessed tooth that had to be pulled and then they gave me 30 oxy, which is all I've ever taken.  I'm on day 6 of nothing and just have no energy.  i purchased that "withdrawel-ease" and have had no leg jitters, rapid heart beat, or problem sleeping, which I have had in the past.  I also have some valium and drink 1 1 /2 bottles of wine daily.  I am working 5 days a week and only missed 1 1/2 days in the 2nd and 3rd day after quitting.  I''m just lost.  I have NO energy.  I do make myself take out the trash, etc. but its hard.  I'm pretty much alone in a rural community, but do have a great boyfriend now, that is drug, alcohol and cigarette free.  Please give me some advice.  I see a local, nurse practicioner and has only made things worse for my health, not that she doesn't try, she is just really busy and doesn't know about pain killer addiction.

You are doing very well, you just have to realize that the latent withdrawal symptoms of listlessness, depression and fatigue can take up to several months to resolve. It will keep getting better and better over time, so don't give up. Good luck.

she would have given me more Norco, that I don't want, but still crave!   but instead gave me tramadol, telling me it isn't addictive.  is this true? when reading the pamphlet, I'm not so sure?

Tramadol is very addictive.
It likely will not give you the "high" that the Norco and Oxy do but I'm here to tell you from experience that Tramadol is addicting.
