Soccer Injury

Soccer Injury

I played soccer my entire life and would head the ball constantly.  Through out high school, if I headed a soccer ball incorrectly (not on the frontal lobe) I would often lose much of my peripheral vision.  My peripheral vision would become wavy and distorted.  Typically it would come on gradually after the head trama, and then would seem to peak approx. 1-2 hours.  After 2-4 hours, it would gradually subside until my vision was completely back to normal.  Sometimes during these periods I would feel sick, have painful headaches, irritability, become exhausted and discomfort to light.  I often thought they were minor concussions but never really was sure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated because this happened much too often when I was younger.

I am sure they will be better equipped then me - an Addiction specialist /Anesthesiologist, albeit a physician, to help you. Good luck.
