Think my friend forged my script..don't know what to do and terrified

I don't know what to do, my friend works in my drs office that I used to go to for my severe neck pain.  My dr there used to fill my Percocet for me until. Was referred to a pain clinic because ve had multiple surgeries and still suffer severely from the pain.  Well I lost my insurance and could not afford to go to my dr anymore because they refused to see me without full payment upfront. I decided to call my old drs office to see if they would just fill my script since they know my case and don't require me to be seen each time I refill, well my good friend works there and said he would ask the dr and if he would he would just get it for me and drop it off, well he did, twice.  The other day he got really intoxicated and confessed to another friend of mine he has been writing his own scions, forging the drs signature , having them filled and selling them so now I'm terrified that he forged the 2 he gave me also.  I don't want to go to jail and at this point I would rather go to the police and tell them or call a lawyer or something.  I feel so sick that he would even do this to me and I would surely tell them what I know because I had no knowledge of it and if he could do that to me then I have no prob seeing him get in trouble for stealing scripts and signing them.  Can anyone please give me advice on whAt I should do?

Don't ever ask him for another script. Getting him in trouble would only destroy your friendship and get him unemployed and in big trouble. When you need medications, go to a free clinic or University clinic where they use a sliding pay scale. Never use a "friend" to get you drugs. He thought he was doing you a favor, instead he was doing something illegal and distasteful. Moreover, how do you know he was giving you the right amount of the medication you needed? Not smart.

I personally wouldn't take the wrap for him. But first I would call the doctor and ask if he wrote it, or try to figure it out somehow without causing any problems.
