Tramadol side effects

I have been taking tramadol/ Tramacet for over 3 years.  I started with 200mg tramadol slow release, and 50mg tramacet for breakout pain.  Within a year I was well over the prescribed amount, and for the last 6-8months I have been easily taking at least 800mg per day.
I just want to confirm that a few of the physical symptoms I have had are a result of tramadol abuse.
Chronic stomach upset, fatigue and a very loud ringing in my ears are the most annoying symptoms.  Are these tramadol side effects?

Thanks

you need to get off it asap i would rather go thru cocaine, oxy, hyro withdrawls before i go thru tramodol withdrawls again, they affect women differently then men, i love my ultram, more than any other drug and its the easiest to get hold of from the doctor, but the withdrawls make me stay away from it

Kes I had all of the same side effects you are speaking of when I used tram and yes at 800mg a day you are putting yourself at great risk of seizing .Have you tried tapering off?

Yes-- and you are asking for trouble!  Doses of tramadol in excess of 400 mg per day place the person at significant risk of grand mal seizures, which are incredibly inconvenient if they occur suddenly during a drive down the highway!
Tramadol is not a benign medication, and neither is the acetominophen in 'tramacet'.  You are playing with fire.
