Ultram Addiction - Quiting-Seizures

i have taken tramadol/ultram 5 years    last year half took a lot - 10-15 day  -  not all time
2 weeks ago had a seizure - i've been taking 6 day sometimes 7 now
i have terrible headaches and im on dialntin for seizure
how do i ween off of ultram?  am i getting headaches and weird feeling because i've lowered my doese so drastically?

You really need to 'come clean' with a good doc over this issue-- the risks are simply too great when you are talking about side effects like seizures.  If you have one seizure on a highway you can kill an entire family-- not to mention yourself.  There is no special trick to tapering off something; in general people go slow;  if they get strange feelings they go even slower.  There IS considerable withdrawal going off ultram.

But see a doc and get on the right anticonvulsant-- one that treats the type of seizures you are having -- not one that treats some other type of seizure that the doctors THINK you have, because they don't have the whole story.
