How long b4 I start seein sum weight gain??I am on day 6 of no hydrocodone.......symptons arent that bad...feeling lonely,cant sleep really, body temp going crazy...but im good

Gaining wt off hydro???? For me personally that's amusing since I always GAINED wt ON hydrocodone and/or methadone! I guess everyone really reacts very differently! They always made me crave sugar even more than I usually do, and when I was on methadone, I would often eat nothing but sugary cereal by the box for days. Not healthy, I know, but I'm changing!.........Since I went off methadone, which has only been 11 days, I have hardly been able to eat anything. Just have no appetite whatsoever. I have lost about 15lbs from not eating and from getting rid of the massive fluid retention that methadone gave me. My clothes are all getting baggy!..............In the past I always found my appetite returned to normal pretty quickly off short acting opiates like hydro. Within a week I was always back to normal, but the dr. is right, if you're depressed it can be longer, and depending on what type of appetite you had before.
