alcohol testing

i'm currently testing for alcohol and several tests have come back with low
levels of creatinine. below 40mg. i drink about 1/2 gal of water and diluted
juices during the day...and am thirsty all time...as i test at 9:00am i find it
difficult that they think i can dilute that extremely in an hour before tests. i
only have a 2 hour time frame from notification to last second testing. i have
over 40 clean tests in a 6 month period and this seems to coincide with a
purificatin diet i'm doing...i'm wondering if i should check out my kidneys...or
if there are other reasons this could be happening...i was informed i must
reduce my water intake but i crave water...any tips?

thank you...kellae blessing-johnson

Dear Kellae,

Your concern is extremely unclear. Creatinine is a protein found in muscle.
High levels indicate that the kidneys are not working well. Low levels generally
do not concern physicians, although I'd check with my personal physician and a
qualified nutritionist to determine if a low level suggests inadequate muscle
bulk. What this has to do with drinking alcohol is beyond me. Good luck!
