I have been eating ice ever since I canremember. I ate it with all three of my pregnancies and thought I would stop but I didn't. Throughout the years I have eaten buckets and buckets of ice. I want some now as I type this question but anyway, I know my iron is low and the reason is because of the ice. My question is how can I stop this addiction and how low can my iron get before I get really sick.
You need to make sure that this is not an indication of something more serious. Ice craving is often a symptom of anemia or low blood count. Please go to your doctor and make sure that your tests are ok.
