I am 3 months and am currently taking 4mg a day. When delivery time comes will I be able to get an epidural? Will it work? I was taking subuxone and was switched to subutex once I found out I was pregnant. Will I be able to breast feed? Answers to my questions or any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Subutex is the medication of choice according to most up-to -date researchers and practitioners. Many women have delivered and nursed safely on Subutex. Baby will wean from it as s/he weans from your breast. The epidural should work just fine for you during the delivery. Good luck to you and my best wishes.
