xanax withdrawal

I took, 75 .25 xanax in 12 days.  I spent the last 24hours in a hospital being monitored and they refused to give me anthing except one.25 this morning.  When my psychiatirst learned what I did he siad don't give anymore to her.  So, I have gone through the worst I think.  My teeth are no longer clenched, II am determined to go cold-turkey.  My question is are my symptoms going to go away in a day or two, or is this going to be drawn out..also sometimes I have a very sharp pain in my chest.  It happened nce in the hospital and then just once now as I was writing this.  Is it in my head?  Or is it real?
