calcified adrenal gland

I have had a calcified adrenal gland for several years and would like to know something about what that causes in the body, any symptoms or treatment that would cause problems with a calcified adrenal gland.

I found this on a medical site:
"Adrenal Calcifications -- Causes

Hemorrhage

TB

Waterhouse-Friderichsen Syndrome

Neuroblastoma

Pheochromocytoma

Addison Disease

Wolman Disease

Adenoma

Carcinoma"

So your doctor would have had to determine the cause (do some testing) in order to determine the treatment. It can vary widely.
