I am dating a guy, and he is great! However, he's always restless, some days he's happy, some days he's just not into it, sleeps all day, depressed almost. He seems like he is always off somewhere, distant, not focused. I'm not sure if he has attachment issues, but he enjoys being in his own space and finds it hard to let people in, maybe he feels alone. He seems like he gets bored or uninterested quite easily. Doctors have said that he has had ADD since he was young [?], but I have been reading about Adopted Child Syndrome. He is 30 now and was adopted at a few months old. Would this be a consideration? He lost a parent a while ago which he still can't talk about, has a lot of friends, but I feel like he can't get close to anyone. I'm trying to understand because I feel like he doesn't even see it. Is there something I can do? Any help/advice is great. Thanks.
I had this until I found my real parents because I felt like half of me was missing... so you could be right.. or could also be bipolar? he should see a doctor just in case its not the ACS. but thats what I had. is there any chance he could get in touch with his biological family?
