Good luck!
Hope you hear from them soon. Keep me updated and I will do the same. We just had our homestudy with the state yesterday and are signing on with Lifetime this week/month :) Very excited,
-Lisa
We have our the pre-conference video to watch, and then have our telephone conference set up for the middle of Feb.
Nervous, excited, scared..... all of the above!
How was your homestudy? We haven't done that yet...... just wanted ideas on how 'torturous' that was????
Thanks!
Sam
Our homestudy wasn't bad at all. I have my one on one with my social worker tomorrow nad my husband has his next Monday. Once that is done she will do her write up and submit it to the comissioner for approval.
As far as Lifetime goes we are waiting for our welcome binder which they said they are sending out Monday so next weekend we will start working on our profile. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time too.
Hope your call goes well :) Are you looking at any other facilitators or just Lifetime?
But 2 weeks after their rejection, I found out about another baby and he was born in July. I finalized his adoption in Dec.
Homestudies are not a big deal - review finances, background check, talk to neighbors and friends, view your home, etc. Mine took all of a week. The background check from the state took the longst - 6 weeks. Our state is just slow.
Thank You Lifetime!!!
