looking to adopt

My husband and I are looking to adopt in the US but went through DSS but its such a hassle. Its been 2 years and still no baby. I have 3 biological children but had complications and can't have anymore. Hoping that someone can give us the gift of a baby soon.

Have you looked into a private adoption situation, not directly through an agency?

If I may ask..do you have the funds available to make an adoption happen, if you weren't going through DSS?  That's often a big factor in deciding which avenues are best to look into.  There's surrogacy, private open and closed adoptions, and even foster programs that can assist in permanent placement.

Those sites are good places to start..and would be a good  place to ask more specific questions and ask for resources in your area.
