21 y.o. daughter - legs swelling, no idea why

My daughter has had edema of her lower legs three times in the last six months.  Twice, she visited the  E.R. lower legs swollen the to same thickness of her thighs.  The E.R. told her to follow up with physician, after they ran blood tests for liver & kidney function.  The did not test for  DVT, blood clot, do a CT scan of her pelvis. She has been to her PC, who ran the same tests.  Nothing noteworthy. Approx eight months ago she had a terrible cough, went to doctor. Cough meds & antibiotics, but truthfully, it never went away completely. She returned to PC in July who took xray of chest, no fluid, nothing to support fungal infection. He gave her antibiotic and her cough seems to have subsided.  She is 21y.o. physically active, college student.
There are now three additional symptoms she also has, which may or may not be related:
1.bleeding when she has a bm, which we've had checked with diagnosis from scope; fissure.
2. Fungal infection on her hand for the better part of eight months &, become severe because the topical wasn't helping.  Dermatologist gave her antifungal in addition to antifungal topical.  Skin cleared up almost immediately. Two months have passed, she is showing a similar rash in the same area of her hand.
3. Vaginal yeast infection - went to OBGYN today, gave her Rx for antifungal. She also mentioned she thought she had the fungal infection again on her hand and that her uncle is an OBGYN and suggested she get a CT scan of her pelvis to rule out any sort of growth triggering the swelling.  Doc said he didn't think she needed it.

I feel as though we're missing something, as I don't think it's normal for someone her age to have edema. Any idea what sort of doctor we need to go to or what could be wrong?
