Adrennals and Hormones

Hi All its Lorraine
Suffering again with these hormones and periods. Can anyone enlighten me as to why I feel much worse when I am due on or on my period??
I have an under-active thyroid and bloods came back low for adrennals but Dr's have dismissed this because stimulation test came back as ok!!
Now they have just labelled me as a depressed person who needed anti-depressants changing. I've changed fron eflexor to cipralopram 20mg's, was feeling better but when hormonal that exhaustion and not feeling too good comes back.
Does anyone know why, or can anyone relate to this??

Hi Thanks for comment, yes I have under-active thyroid. Dr thinks I may need some T3
to help convert the thyroxine, was on it before but he took me off it!!

Hi,

Have you had your thyroid checked?

I was on medications for years for depression and was finally diagnosed with overt hypo-thyroid. Since being on thyroid meds I have not been depressed.

Just a thought.....
