After surgery

Hello
In September I had sinus surgery.  When I came out of surgery I had, heart palpitations, internal tremors that won't go away, and a sense of speediness. I also have hashimotos. I was not on any meds during surgery.  Could these symptoms be from adrenal insufficiency and how can I find out?  Please help!

AI is an issue with sodium so usually one craves salt, and odds are there is an abnormal sodium or potassium around.

No never. I am always craving sugar. My range was 138 (135-146).  I don't feel better after sugar.

By above range do you mean high - or just above the lower end of the range?

If you are on the low end when you are feeling ok when you had the testing, then hard to say. Do you ever crave salt - or feel better after anything salty?

Ok thanks. I checked my last labs and my sodium was just a little above range. Does that rule out AI ?  Or should I still have my adrenals checked?

I don't think so? I just think that happens with some people AI or no AI.

I will try and find out. Thank you. Also I have a hard time metabolizing medicine. Could AI cause this?
Thanks

Testing would be best for AI. The big tell though would be low sodium. You may have had a reaction to the anesthesia or to something used to clear your sinuses, like epinephrine during surgery? I would find out what you were given during surgery.
