An Adrenal Crisis?

by PrettyKiity808, Oct 29, 2009 12:12PM
This event that happened to my body has changed my life. I went to the hospital and they didn't help me about three years before. It started with me taking three prescriptions: skelaxin, ibuprofen for back pain and an antibiotic for UTI. It seems like this triggered something bad in my body to happen. Maybe I had something wrong with me and these three meds started it. Three days after taking these meds I started to feel fatigued and like I was getting weaker basically losing control with the movement of my body. I was lightheaded, dizzy, very heavy like gravity was pulling me to the ground, fast heart rate. Symptoms of Postural Orthostatic Tackycardia Syndrome. That day my period came twice on ovulation day, that was the first time my period was abnormal, I could hardly walk across the room, hold a bowl of soup, pick up a fork with my hand. I had to stop driving for three months, going to school, and everything in my life. I have had so many tests done and seen doctors and specialists. They all thought it was in my head from anxiety and depression. Overtime with antibiotics they help me physically. Overtime I have not been able to have a BM for 15 months. The more I eat and drink the more I have a a liquid back up that increases. It's on the left side  of the abdomen. It only gets relieved somewhat with a laxative. Pain,  discomfort, ect... Exaserbation the more I try to do physically the faster my heart beats. Lying to standing HR increases 30 beats +. Also, shortness of breath. I have scoliosis that can be contributing to this. These are some tests results somewhat abnormal: CT of pelvis 9/09 Prominent left adnexal cystic focus. 3.13*3.1cm low attention area demonstrated-getting an untrasound soon to see if it resolved, T3 Uptake is a high normal 36, BUN 7, Creatinine 10, Total cholesterol 215, LDL 140, Palpitations, MRI Head- nonspecific white matter signal focus at left frontal periventricular region. I think when I went to the hospital I had an adrenal crisis possibly. I feel better and it's an improvement. I still have the same symptoms that aren't as bad. I am always so fatigued and can't do much physically from SOB and tackycardia.I can work part-time. I just want to work and have my life be normal. Find out what is wrong and get this treated at least. I don't know what is going on with me or what any of this means.
