I am guessing you did a 24 hour urine test? And one 8am cortisol?

I am going to say I am just a teeny bit confused by your name - it is more common (as in a symptom) to be underweight with low cortisol but it is more common to be overweight with high cortisol.

One set of testing is not diagnostic and it has to be done properly - as in blood tests 8am fasting and the urine must be kept cold and done following instructions.

Both high and low cause fatigue and it is not uncommon for either to be mis-diagnosed as CFD.

You also need other tests besides cortisol - and you need to know the source be it adrenal or pituitary.
