Cortisol Saliva Test Results

Hi,

Before I go to my Doctor's I thought I would ask you people about my current health.  For the last few years I have become more tired in the mornings, frequently get hand shaking and light headed, slow healing and have low blood pressure.  For example my Omron monitor had read lower than 90/50 on many occasions during the last few weeks.  There is history of endocrine problems in my family so I decided to have a private saliva cortisol test.  These are the results.

Sample 1 Post Awakening 6.7 nmol/L   (ref limits 12-22)
Sample 2 1pm                  0.8 nmol/L    (ref limits 5-9)
Sample 3 6pm                  0.9 nmol/L    (lref limits 3-7)
Sample 4 11pm                0.5 nmol/L    (ref limits 1-3)
Total Daily Cortisol           8.9 nmol/L    (ref limits 21-41)

I thought the results might be low, but not that low.  I am concerned that it might be Addison's.  What are you thoughts?  Where is the cut off between adrenal fatigue and Addison's? Thanks for any help.  David.

Sample 2 1pm                    0.029mcg/dL
Sample 3 6pm                    0.033mcg/dL
Sample 4 11pm                  0.018mcg/dL  
Total Daily Cortisol             0.322mcg/dL

I went to the doctor today.  Taken bloods for various tests to back up the private saliva tests.  Will keep you informed.
