Could it be a Adrenal problem

Hi i am a 13 year old girl who has had severe headaches for a year now. There has been many strange symtoms that docters can not explain. When you put it all together i have severe headaches, severe fatique, generalized weakness, High heart rate, and a slightly elevated blood pressure, very much affected by cold. I also got a cold a little bit earliear in the year so they put me on antibiotics, but it kept coming back. I was on three rounds of antibiotics. It still hasn't gone away i have been on nasenex since then to control it. Docters have noted i have a 2.5 cm retention cyst in my sinuises. About a month ago i had a extremely severe headache for three weeks, i literaly could not get out of bed, because when ever i sat up i was in a extreme amount of pain. Recently one of my docters have mentioned it could be adrenal related. I have an appointment later in the month, but i just wanted any ideas u can come up with. thank you very much!

We have gone to a ent and they have said i have a retention cyst, deviated septum, and bone spurs on both sides. The also said i have huge adnoids that are covering 75 % of the back of my nose. THey said this is all a major contributor to my headaches but not the cause. Either way i am extremely excited. THey are trying meds first but probably going to have to do surgery.

Your being cold suggests hypothyroidism. Often when one gland is underactive, others usually are, in  your case perhaps the adrenals. If you were my child I would take you to an endocrinologist. But maybe you have already seen one. If I remember correctly, those with adrenal insufficiency need salt.

I would look into diabetes insipidus, water diabetes. Drinking that much - do you pee it out as well?

It could be adrenals too - but the water thing can be more pituitary.

Has anyone metioned your pituitary to you?  It's a gland in your brain right behind your sinusus and if it's not working, it could be causing a lot of your symptoms.  I wonder if that cyst is pressing on that gland and making it malfunction?  Here's a website at the Mayo Clinic you could maybe read and see if it sounds like some of the stuff you are feeling and ask you doctor about.

Good luck.
