Help with salivary cortisol result

Hello,

I'm a 35 year old woman and had a salivary cortisol test last week. I took the sample at 11:00 PM. I'm having trouble understanding my result - can someone please help?

.0064  ug/dL

Is this low for a person my age and gender? What is the likely next step if I am low?

Thanks

Sarah

I  think that one test is not enough to judge yourself by so you need to get several sets of testing plus other tests to support the diagnosis.

AI is a salt wasting disease so you will have sodium and potassium reading that are low or high.

Plus you need a stim test.

Sorry TYPO CITY.

My result is .064 and the normal range is .094-1.515

Are the established normal ranges very strict? I mean, if I am just low by 3 one-hundreths, is that that bad? My range for normal says:

Women 31-50: .0094-1.515 ug/dL
