Hi rumpled......I've been diagnosed with Addison's disease since 1978......treated with 30 mgs hydrocortisone/day.....plus....Florinef 0.1mg/day........and everything seems to be well under control. I'm so impressed with your knowledge of how the endo system works......I think your imput is invaluable. When I thought I was dying [ and I was ] way back then......doc after doc told me nothing was wrong......till I finally put together everything that was wrong with me and found the best endo guy in Dallas.......a 15 minute physical and discussion of symptoms was all he needed. He did the blood test but didn't wait for the results which, at that time......took 6 weeks to get back.....anyway he started treating me right away......my dark tan in the middle of winter.....with no bikinie lines is what did it for him.........but it sounds like you are helping alot of desperate people......people who are confounding doctors who's egos won't let them say....I don't know....instead they say....it's all in your head !!!! Anyway.....this forum is lucky to have you.......I enjoy learning.......and I already have my answers. thanks.....from all of us !!......Norma
