Is this Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency?

by zipposwap, Sep 27, 2009 11:01AM
I'm not 100% sure what this means.. I have the Chemistry report from the Lab but no interpretation from my doctor as of yet.

The test was done in the evening, around 8pm.

ACTH Stim test:

Cortisol Base 1.1mcg/dL
Cortisol 30 min 20.2mcg/dL
Cortisol 60 min 23.0/mcg/dL

I have been worried about this all weekend so far, and if anyone could give me any idea of what this might mean?  I assume that it could be an easy to understand set of numbers for someone on here.

ACTH Stim was ordered b/c of low AM cortisol.
