Prednisone Absorbancy

Hi,
  Can being extremely overweight effect how well Prednisone is absorbed in the body and what negative side effects are experienced as well ?

Not that I know of.

The only things that effect corticosteroids - that would be any, HC, pred, dex, is that if you have an underlying condition that is inflammatory, it would "use" the steroid for that as well.

Negative side effects - anything over 5mg of pred suppresses the adrenals so you risk putting them to sleep forever and as well, any higher doses, just look up Cushing's syndrome, go down the symptom list and any of those can happen. A lot of it can be hidden like bone and muscle stuff. Or happen later like eye and heart issues.

I would say the weight itself does not matter.
