STIM test results...what does this mean?

I am new to this group. Can anyone interpret these STIM test results for me?  The endo says my cortisol is high. That may be, but I read that the baseline cortisol should double after the stimulation at 60 minutes. Mine number did not double.  So, is my cortisol high? Does it matter that the number didn't double?

baseline:  27.3
38.5 at  thirty minute stimulation
43.5 at sixty minute stimulation

Thank you!!

Ann

Your doctor should not say you cortisol is high as that is not the purpose of the test, but rather it appears your adrenals are functioning.

The standard is to double but some doctors have a magic number you are supposed to reach... You must have reached that number.

You did not double, but you did consistently rise...

How are your sodium and potassium levels? What about other tests?
