Sudden Weak "Fuzzy Headed" after standing or walking
My sickness started while I was pregnant with my last child. 2 1/2 years ago and I'm still sick. Doctors have tested me for 100 things and everything keeps coming up normal except one test. My adrenal Gland levels were like 3 times what would be normal range? They did a 4 hour saline infusion test to see if I had hyperaldostrism but it came back as in normal range. No further adrenal test has been done. I cannot handle the heat get nausous and light headed and if I'm standing or walking more than 5-10 min I get weak and then sometimes nausous and lightheaded or fuzzy feeling. Not normal but all my test have came back normal. I need someone with some advice please.
I have been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency by medical error. When I was diagnosed, I had 6 months to live. Then through medical rotations when hospitalized, a doctor came forward and asked me if she could try to keep me alive. Now, I have 32 different types of medications daily plus 10 insulin injections, BUT, I am alive. Of course, life is not perfact but I am alive.
I am in Montreal, maybe you could contact my doctor to see what she could do!
Can you tell me specifically what adrenal gland levels? The adrenals happen to give off several hormones so depending on the one, the treatment can vary. Hyper-aldosterone I am guessing it was renin or aldosterone which means your sodium or potassium are very off. Those can also be effected by other hormones like cortisol, another adrenal hormone.
It is most helpful to have a copy of the labs and know the exact hormone and the range and what tests you had exactly.
Greffard100 = A lot of people are diagnosed, sadly, during a crisis which is a life threatening situation. Are you hypo-pituitary or pan-hypopituitary?
