acth stimulation test results
My 14 year old daughter recently had an acth stimulation test.  The results were 8.0 mcg/dL cortisol at 11:38 a.m. and 12.2 mcg/dL 60 minutes later at 12:48 p.m.  Does this indicate primary or secondary adrenal insufficiency. Her endo seems intent on secondary but can't these results indicate primary?  Also, this was done with no fasting , can that make a difference in results?   Thanks for any input.
