Websites are not places for urgent questions. I would contact a doctor or nurse line.

I am panhypopituitary which means that I don't have a functioning pituitary. I take a replacement T4 medication (not synthroid brand as I am allergic). I am only a patient but hormones are replacements - so if your pituitary is not working to signal your thyroid (or your thyroid), I don't see a reason why not to take a replacement hormone. I would get copies of your tests and get proper replacements. A neuro-endo at a pituitary center is great for this.
