Nootropics for studying.

by Victoria14, Sep 21, 2009 05:07AM
These few days, i came across articles and so on with regard to nootropics, a.k.a smart drugs.
I was just wondering whether, how big will its benefits be for a 14 year old?
In addition, what are the effects if i stopped adminstrating it, after a regular intake?
Finally, is there any long term side effects which may not surface?

Victoria,

I would without hesitation STAY AWAY from these so-called "smart drugs."  I am not well versed about them; my warning to you comes from my knowledge that a teenager's brain is still forming, and none of us have any idea what the short-term or longer-term impact on brain development these (or any other) drugs have.  I think the question to be asking yourself is, why would you need to consider taking these drugs to begin with?

I need them to actually improve my performance in studies. A very important exam is coming up too. Also, it i thought that since such a good thing is available, why not benefit yourself from those?
