Wetting problem in adults

Mr SP s a 68 years old retired bank manager. Twice a week he enjoys a round of golf with his friends. However he now feels that he will have to give up playing. On a couple of occasions recently he has unexpectedly wet himself. Yesterday this happened on the golf course and he was very embarrassed.
What are the possible course of Mr SP's problem?
What can be done by healthcare professionals to help?

Has he seen his doctor yet? I would start with a visit to a urologist to find the source of the problem. There are meds out there that can assist. He may, in the mean time, want to try some adult incontinence briefs for longeroutings such as golf. I know no one wants to use them, but if it can keep him out and active, then it is worth it. No one will know but him.
