Agoraphobia w/PTSD

by JAXX1313, Jul 12, 2009 12:49PM
I posted a bulletin the other day asking how to help my girlfriend with Agoraphobia. I failed to mention that she also suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Any advice would be appreciated...JAXX

The best advice I can give you about PTSD is to get your girlfriend to a therapist who specializes in it, and let her talk it out if that's what she wants to do.  That will help her get past thinking about her past trauma and to start moving forward.............
All of this takes time and effort, but it's sooooooooo worth it............
Again, hang in there........
