Constant tension in my head

Constant tension in my head

I feel a tension in my head. It feels like it is inside my head so rubbing the skin of my head doesn't help. I feel it every day and the pain varies. It's at its highest when i am aggravated. When it gets bad, my eyebrows tense up and twitch. I can not tell if it is a mental or physical problem. It originated as a mental problem but somehow manifested it physically( i think). The tension has been there for a year. I do not believe it is a tension head ache because it doesn't feel like a band is over my head.
It started in the summer of last year, where i was done with AP Biology work. I was a really competitive student. I would get agitated whenever someone finished their work before me. This agitation built up in my mind and i would always think about the time when some random student finished their assignment before i did. I also had or thought i had a breathing problem because of that agitation. My agitation further built up in the summer.
My youngest sister developed an "attitude" which really bothered me. Not only did her attitude bother me, i thought she was the cause of my breathing problem. Whenever i thought why she bothered me, i concluded that i feared her in some way and this conclusion made me very upset which led to more tension. My head would be so tensed around her presence. Throughout the building up of agitation, the tension in my head got worse.
me an my family went to a vacation, that was the time it really got worse and that was when the same constant tension that i had now started to begin. It happened when i was looking at my youngest sister and she gave me some smirk which really infuriated me because it gave me the idea that she was mocking me in some way.
The tension in my head has been there for a very long time, it would be much appreciated if you can share your opinions about this and suggest some answers on diagnosis and some way of treatment.

I can not give you a diagnosis, but, from what I have read, it appears to me that your conditon is due to stress and anxiety. Your scalp can get tight just any other part of the body can when it is stressed, and it IS a strange feeling, I have had it before myself.

I don't think it is really serious, however, I would try not to let things get to you, and relax. Try to do things that take your mind off your sister and the way she acts.

I am no doctor or anything but you should try meditation.

There a book called Meditation for Dummies by Stephan Bodian. Its strange they called it Meditation for Dummies but don't let the name of the book intimidate you.

It seems like your mind is stressing you out. Hopefully the book will give you some answers. And try to take life less seriously. Trust me, I've been a victim of that before.
