Okay for about 3years I have had anxiety BAD.
Well I remember most of my panics being at my mom's house,
Now im afraid everytime I go im going to have a panic attack
and I get so scared about having one, I have one.
Is this what Agoraphobia is?
No Agoraphobia is the total fear of leaving your own house. We stay in all the time. For various reasons. Not just anxiety. You may get better help over on the anxiety forum. It sounds like you have anxiety about going to your mum's house? Like you don't want to go. The panic attacks seem to begin there. So you can get there fine. It is only once there. Panic kicks in. Not sure how you and your mum get on. If there is some trigger there that sets the attacks off. Only you might know the answer to that one. But check out the anxiety forum as well. We are all over there too. More answers you will probably get.
Agoraphobia (from Greek aγορά, "marketplace"; and φόβος/φοβία, -phobia) is an anxiety disorder. Agoraphobia was traditionally thought to involve a fear of public places and open spaces. However, it is now believed that agoraphobia develops as a complication of panic attacks. But there is evidence that the implied one-way causal relationship between spontaneous panic attacks and agoraphobia in DSM-IV appears incorrect. Agoraphobia may arise by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia avoid public and/or unfamiliar places, especially large, open, spaces such as shopping malls or airports where there are few 'places to hide'. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to his or her home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
