New- Do I have agoraphobia?

I'm 29 & i hate to go out! id rather spend a Friday/ Sat at home....
My friend all invite me to go out but i just dont want too... Sometime a muster up the courage and go out and i have fun But the very next day i feel the same way... Even going to the store is an issue. I have to talk myself into going.

maybe not agoraphobia. maybe its just a case of low self esteem? have you accomplished anything lately to make you feel proud? agoraphobia symptoms also entail sometimes having panic attacks and feeling scared and paranoid when your out. doesnt sound like you have that

Yes, if you had Agoraphobia, you would be fearing having a panic attack outside the safety of your own home (our homes are generally, a safe haven), and it being witnessed by the general public. A fear of going into a situation, maybe a supermarket, or on a bus, knowing you might have a panic attack. Also the fear, that if you have one, that no one will help you. It is possible to suffer from Agoraphobia, without the panic attacks though, but it would still be more severe, than what you have described.
