YES to both, if you can.  Although I think that taking medication is a personal choice.  I don't take medication, but I have agoraphobic online friends who do and swear by them.  But getting some cognitive behavioral therapy is really a must.  The therapist will teach you how to desensitize, and help you along with your recovery.
I wish you the best.  Let us know what you've decided to do.  Whatever you decide, the sooner the better!!

What happens now is all about how you react to it. Do you let it take control and shape your life for you? Or are you the fighting type? Very easy to give into it and say ' why me '. Bit of medication and theraphy and a lot of fight and you can have your old life back.
