colazapan for Agoraphobia?

I've taken Colazapan for years to help deal with my Agoraphobia but it only seems to calm me down when it's at its worse.  I know I have to get to the root of the problem as I now have Virtigo and this combined with the Agoraphobia is a killer!!  Sometimes I feel like life is not worth living, I get panic attacks at work and I have to shut myself in the washroom and hide.  My Doctor has suggested other drugs but I am really afraid it will change by personality.

Are you taking Colazapan on a daily basis or on an as needed basis?

I'm sorry to hear you have another health issue that is adding to your anxiousness.

I am in treatment for Agoraphobia and I've been doing EFT, Time Line Therapy, and NLP with a life coach to get to the root of the problem since I am also on Colazapan and it isn't working enough for me to stay on it. I also did CBT, which didn't work for me but it may help you. I take it daily so that is why I ask if you are taking it daily or as needed. I remember getting the panic attacks at work but there are some things you can do like letting all the air out of your lungs and then when they are empty take a breath and do this 3 times and it will center you so you can focus. The question you need to ask yourself is it chemical or environmental that is causing you anxiety? If it is environmental such as mine, medications didn't work great for me but they are safe and will take the edge off while you work on getting better.

I had a terrible day getting out today and feel the same way. Life is not worth living but we are all precious and will get through this. Keep your head up and remember we are all in this together.
