Family matter/Divorce/Remarriage/Alcohol

I divorced 3 years ago after a 21 year marriage and remarried 8 months after that. My ex remarried last week. I have custody of our only child who is still lives at home, 11. My ex and my husband are completely opposite. Ex being a minister who had problems being faithful ,and now, husband an alcoholic who sometimes even acts like a little kid. My 11 year old is suffering at school and home because of all this. What can I do to help? He is suffering from constant stomache aches, diarreah (diarrhea), acid reflux. He has seen his Dr. and they tell me its nerves. It just seems like there is something more I should be doing??

If your child is suffering then it is up to you to take him out of the situation. I would start by letting your child spend a week at grandmas. If he is fine there then you know the stress is effecting his health and more permanant arrangments need to be made.
