No Sleep Taking Alcohol...........

I am 62 yr old man taking alcohol for past 25 years at twice in weekly. And I undergone byepass surgery before 2 year and now i am in helathy man. But for a past month even i took alcohol i didnt get sleep at night.I very much worried about my sleep.Pls anybody answer sir

I'd say for me, it was oxy's. Slept like a baby for 6 yrs, then all of a sudden, couldnt sleep anymore. Insomnia kicked in big time. Also anxiety. Knew the pills weren't doing their job anymore, and neither was the brain. Went CT off the pills, and Im on day 11. Sleep still hasnt kicked in but for a few hours a night here and there and anxiety almost gone.  You might need to go get detoxed off the alcohl at a center , and  then your brain needs to relearn how to sleep without it. good luck to you!
