Please help me stop my father to stop drinking.

I know this forum discussions are for adults only, even though I'm 13 but, I need help, my dad wont stop drinking, 24/7 he has at least a beer in his hand, he started this 2 weeks ago.. anyone know maybe when he'll suffer any diseases..
Because I don't want my dad to die. I really care for him. Plus he has a bump near his lungs, and at night i hear him coff a lot, knowing that he still keeps drinking. I don't know what to do.
I'm just really sorry for my mom also. She tried warning him.
Please tell me advices...

hi there. i'm very sorry you are dealing with this situation---i've been on both sides myself. your dad has to want to stop, but you and your mom should check out alanon/alateen as they can be invaluable in assisting you through your own issues resulting from his drinking. you are not too young to reach out for help. i will send you links via a pm and please don't  hesitate to ask if you have more questions. take care,  gm

Just like the other post saids. You and your mom need alnon and you alteen. You can tell you dad your feelings but he has to wat to quit.
