by stecdeville, Mar 17, 2008 04:00PM
I underage and i have been diagnosed from the doctors to have problems with my liver, I used to drink heavily about a year ago because of a serious depressive stage I have to go through. I have just signed up to this forum to search for help because i seriously have an addiction. On SAturday night i went through:

16 bottles of Lager (Becks)
35cl whiskey (Southern Comfort)
4-5 shots of scotch (Black Label & Bells)

So you "used to drink heavily about a year ago"? I would say your saturday would qualify as beyond "heavy". If you're still drinking at these volumes, it's no wonder your doctor is concerned about your liver.  You didn't ask a question on your post, but you should difinitely stop drinking NOW. If you're still young (you say you're underage), then it's possible that you can regain your health, but not by simply slowing down or cutting back.  You have to stop, or you're not going to last very long.

Once you already have a liver problem, additional binge drinking can do a lot of damage.

One quick note - if my post listed above seemed a little abrupt, I apologize.  You said you're on here to look for help, and I know from experiance that it's a difficult thing to do.  There wasint' a lot of information to work from, so I'm probably making some assumptions.  I will say this::: if your friends are drinking a lot, you need to stay away from them for now.  It's tough to stop if you're hanging around a group of people who like to party.  That may seem difficult too, but there are a lot of people out there who have interests that do not revolve around alcohol.

are you a guy? anyway..i have seen people that can drink that much before..i have to wonder how much you weigh...some real big people seem to be able to drink like that without killing themselves..at least for a while...sooner or later it's time to die or live with liver or other problems ...doesn't the alcohol make you go through depression a lot? a few times i drank half a quart of vodka..a quart i know would have killed me..but i only weigh between 162 to maybe 169 when i'm heavy so i think theres only so much room for the stuff to go..why don't you tell us more about your drinking ..like how long you been drinking..how old you are..just more details because theres folks here that can answer a lot of your questions and could probably relate.....good luck...billy
