Alcoholic Hallucinations

I had a really bad reaction to pot the first time I smoked it - experienced bad paranoia, time distortion, hallucinations - it was frightening.  Never touched pot again.  Ever since, however, sometimes when I overindulge with alcohol I experience the same sort of hallucinations - not all the other stuff though.  Anyone familiar with anything like this after drinking a lot?

that being the case, it would be a good idea to consult a md and possibly even a neurologist. i have seen people have similar reactions to marijuana, but not alcohol alone. another possibility is you may have a physical allergy to alcohol or its additives (not the same allergic reaction as experienced by alcoholics). the possible implications of such a condition would warrant medical diagnosis. gm

I don't drink heavily that often, but when I do, this happens WHILE I'm drunk.

how often do you overindulge? do you hallucinate while intoxicated or after drying out some?
